What is Orion?
Orion is a virtual studio software for music production under MS Windows, made by Synapse Audio Software. It is very intuitive, has everything you need to create various kinds of music (mixer, EQ, piano-roll editor, step sequencer, MIDI in/out, two kinds of samplers, few softsynths, dozens of effects, arp, sidechains, beat slicer, ASIO and ReWire support etc.), it's open for external plug-in formats (VST, VSTi, DX, DXi) and soundbanks (SoundFonts, AKAI S5000/S6000, Kurzweil).
